Programa Destino uses a STEM-focused curriculum to teach English to beginning learners. Our 2-year program includes robust academics, personal textbooks, computing and hands-on health and physical sciences instruction. We hire highly qualified teachers and include volunteer interaction to maximize learning and exposure to native speakers.
In this six-part curriculum students to work towards English and Spanish bilingualism, learning real world and relevent content, as they become accountable for their subsequent growth as lifelong learners.
Children will learn the English language through exposure to various subject matters, including literature, art, social studies, science, and mathematics. Students will practice reading and writing skills, as well as work collaboratively in groups.
Programa Destino aims to teach young children the value of learning about other cultures, people, and languages, in order to instill bilingualism from a young age. We encourage confidence and creativity in students, in order to help them develop a level of competence within their language studies in order to move forward to the next level.
The program aims to develop proficiency and fluency, build cross-cultural connections, and create critical thinking skills and collaborative problem-solving skills.
This is a content-based ESL preparation course for children between the ages of 7 and 12 years old to go to international school.
